CWOIL is pleased to announce the second session in a series of training opportunities with CWOIL partner, Women in Resource Development Corporation (WRDC)https://wrdc.ca/.

Over the past 20 years, WRDC has positioned itself as a key partner for advancing gender equity in the workplace. WRDC has vast experience bringing practical, informative and helpful training opportunities to groups and organizations who wish to avail of their considerable expertise and knowledge in matters relating to, among other things, inclusion and diversity.

This one-hour lunch and learn will give you a great overview on topics relating to matters that are upfront and foremost on many employers and employee’s minds; covering themes relating to diversity and inclusion. There will also be an opportunity to connect with WRDC and access a larger, more fulsome training session for your management and staff; so make sure you attend.

“Diversity, Inclusion and You”.Diversity and inclusion benefit everyone but there are still many challenges to overcome, including our own perceptions, opinions and attitudes. This training helps participants navigate these complex issues through group discussion, self-reflection and exploration of the factors preventing inclusion. With this knowledge participants learn how to use communication as a highly effective tool to becoming more inclusive in their day to day lives.
